it works exactly as advertised. The lifting portion is very quick (almost instant). This means the kit is still effective with the "Oh my God! Who put that pothole there?!" moments while driving. The tank, once full will support ~3 full lifts. Thats lifts for the front AND the back. The tank will usually top itself off even after the 1st lift. But it takes 3-4 minutes to complete. The actual lift is ~3 inches, but that seems to be plenty for everything Ive encountered thus far. Note: I live in Denver, Colorado. So theres plenty of steep intersections going in/out of parking lots and driveways here. You *can* press the switches to make it go up/down and prevent it from going all the way up or down, but its really uncomfortable doing that. Details below. While the suspension is in the UP position, the ride is dramatically different. It is SUPER stiff and completely unforgiving. Its easy to tell if the suspension is even partially the way up because of this. This surprised me because its riding on air. I just didnt realize it was under so much pressure. Imagine replacing your shocks/struts with steel blocks. Thats how stiff it makes it. Once lowered, its completely normal. If you took the tank and switches out, Id have no idea the rest of the VRH kit was installed. Brilliant idea.
